Re: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Replacing Battery on VFX (non-SD)

a "button cell" has its + side as the main casing
the underneath is the - side

so they almost always sit + up based on the physical casing method

I found a compatible (CR2032) lithium at RadioShack, but I can't tell
(or get the board out to tell) which of the two connectors is which on
the board (+ and -). I tried downloading the .tif schematics from
the "files" section on here, but all of them seem to be "damaged"
according to my computer. The battery connection on the board looks
like this when looking at it from above:

* ( ) *

the space in the middle is for the battery, obviously, but which of
the two slots are which? I unfortunately had to ruin the connector
desoldering the batter, and I was going to try and re-solder a new one
in with wires just to get it up and running again.

Any help?
