well excuuuse me; I forgot this was the Ensoniq forum and NOT the vintage synth one, where most of its posters are DIY-ers. As for myself, I've never been intimidated by opening a board [or PC for that matter] and confronting the circuitry---I've been a solder jockey since puberty and love the smell of solder flux.
