Subject: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Re: Replacing Battery on VFX (non-SD)
I got that, but idiot me forgot to look at how the old one was connected
before attacking it with desoldering braid and breaking the old battery
connector! :-( what I want to know is, there are two contact points on
the board to which the battery connector's terminals were soldered.
Does it matter which is which so long as the + wire doesn't touch the -
one? Can't I just solder (carefully) hookup wire to the new battery, re-
solder each wire to one of the contact points and call it a day? Or is
one specifically routed to the + signal?
