Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Hi everyone!
 I am new to this list and to synths. I am a guitarist, but can play
some basic keyboards and have been trying to get better at keyboards.
Any way I found a VFX SD at a Garage sale, and me also being a
technician was able to repair it.
 I have read as much as I could find on the internet about the VXF SD
but have not found much on how and what can be done with it. I went to
guitar center and played around with some old synthesizers and think I
know how they basicaly work, but everything on this VXF seems so much
more complicated and different. I can use the sounds that it already
has on it, but I am intested in being able to do at least a little
more with it. I also do not understand how the sequencer works, do i
need a seperate disk to use the sequencer? It keeps asking me to load
the sequencer disc? Is this a seperate disc from the os that is on it
already?
 Also I noticed i think i can split the sounds on the two sides of the
keyboard by using the presets, but only the sounds that happen to be
there, is there a way to select the two sounds that you want?
 From reading some messages on the list I realize I need to try to
purchase a manual, but if any one can share some basics with me, some
basic things that can be done with this keybrd, that I can do before I
can get a manual I would apreciate it
