Thanks for the info Paul. Never knew that.
My VFX-SD and SD-1 both read "136" on the battery check so for units 16-18 years old I am assuming that's pretty good efficiency.

Press and hold the Preset button. Now press the Compare button.

Along with the position of some of the controllers, your battery level
will be displayed. A reading greater than 125 is safe.

An old trick I had forgotten.
