AW: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Will an Ensoiq EPS read a VFXsd Disk?

2007-05-17 by Hans Artmann

Although the disk format is very similar, the concept of the keyboards is completely different. All you could do is take the Giebler program which can convert VFXsd sequences into standard MIDI files and standard MIDI into EPS sequences, then store them back on disk.
However, there's absolutely no chance with the sounds! EPS stores real samples on disk while the 'sounds' on a VFX disk are only parameter files to control the VFX buiilt-in samples.

I believe that these two keyboards are too different.

Best wishes,
