Hi Bob!
I actually bought the VFX-SD1 from a guy who didn't like it :O (after he used for 9 months) When he had it, it crashed on him. The standard repair here in DK was the change of the whole motherboard to a 21 voice SD-1.
Could it be that the keys are different from model to model?

Glad to hear that there are reports of the SD-x being Poly AT....however, could your's be a special case since you started as a VFX ?BobEl Segundo, CA----- Original Message -----From: ClausSent: Friday, August 24, 2007 1:15 AMSubject: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Re: Sorry about that last..duh er huh... valid question...The SD1 also have Poly Pressure. (My VFX was refitted with a 21 Voice
SD-1 mainboard - the original equipped board went dead after a couple
of months or so...)
And Yes, Poly Pressure and Poly Aftertouch is the same.

Hi Claus
I had read somewhere that the later models
did not carry over the Poly Aftertouch, but my sources may have been in error,
and all the web sites that listed polyAT keyboards seem to have left out the
SD....but from now on, I will assume the SD is
PolyAT/Pressure....
In your case, you started from the VFX-SD
model which is PolyAT keyboard mechanism anyway......
