Hi, Bob, The sequencer OS needs to be loaded from a floppy disk. Were you able to get one with the machine? Otherwise I think there are utilities around that would allow you to reconstitute one. There might be something in the files section of this group. If you can't find one I may be able to figure out a way to send you a disk image if you have a PC capable of writing to a floppy. I used to have a way of doing this but haven't in a while. Hopefully your VFX-SD has the latest ROMs as I think different versions of the sequencer matched different ROM versions in the keyboard.
