there are some of us having a studio that could be arranged to play and record your sequences to a cd as a wav file

Hi,

I somehow murdered my trusty old SD1 32 voice. I
bought it new, it saw me through a bunch of making
tracks for my church and two years of public school
use as the main keyboard for the choir. And then
becuase the display was acting up, I opened the lid.
there was this spark and now there is nothing...dead
critter.

I'm not hopeful of bringing life back to it.

Does anyone know if sequences created on the SD1 32vc
can be played on any of the earlier cousins...like the
vfx SD or the 16 voice version of the SD-1?

I hunt ebay and the like and occasionally there's one
of these other boards, but I don't know if I could
recover my old data with one of them.

I have another keyboard now, so the ideal thing for me
would be to find an SD1 32 vc and buy it for a couple
months, record my old tracks onto CD's and then resell
the board.

Although if it worked, I bet I couldn't bear to sell
it. I sure miss the interface of the SD-1 when I'm
trying to read the crap manual that came with my
Yamaha. The board works fine, but the Ensoniq let me
think like a musician and not get trapped in the
workings of the board. Like where is my tap tempo!
