ok, that i will do.   i can't get a hold of the soniq, i have emailed
and called to arrange to just send him the keyboard but have not heard
back, and he doesn't have an answering machine.  interesting chap.  how
do i check a diode?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
