Richard, Jon, SVbeats... ...LMAO @ all our posts. I rarely get a good hardy laugh when reading thru posts so this was a real treat. Oopsie, I forgot: Dwayne, thanks for being such a sour pus and creating such a fun thread, ya cranky little turd!! LMAO! One other note, SV....as much as I hate going back to being serious...(hehehe) if you haven't used the VFX-SD sequencer yet---dude, you are gonna fall in love. DON'T underestimate the power of the dark....I mean the sequencer. If it weren't for my Korg Oasys (and other newer synths) I would still rely totally on the SD-1 (same sequencer as yours, basically) for all my compositions. I know anyone with a computer in their studio must be laughing at me but I am way old school when it comes to sequencing. Everyone in Korg Forums (except for me) hates the sequencer on the Oasys...lol. On my CD, what I am doing is sending a bunch of my old sequence tracks to the Oasys' audio...then I throw a few more things into the mix and Boom Badda Bing.... In any case, I still find myself returning to the SD-1 for creating songs. It's so darn fast once you got the hang of it. Okay, enough outta me for one day. Catch ya'll later. Still waiting for my sequence floppys to come in. Reading up around the net all I hear about these boards are that they have calibration issues, errors, malfunctions. For once, I'd like hear a few good stories about these boards. Has anyone used one for years and years without any issues?
