Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Why would you want to converrt them to standard midi (meaning general 
midi?) first? You'll only loose the original Ensoniq sound. Why don't 
you just play the sequences from your vfx and directly record them to 
mp3? All you need is a good sound card and some software.

As for storing the sequences for use with other wequencers you can 
either buy the Giebler software or midi connect to your PC and use a PC 
sequencer to record what your vfx is playing from your sequences. very 
simple.
