Regarding your question about erasing certain events from a track, I didnt understand if you want to delete them from the VFX-SD sequencer tracks.
In this case, have you seen Section 12, page 19 of the VFX-SD manual? There is a FILTER function for several event types.
Also, if you only want to delete notes, you can do it selecting a range or a time interval in the track erase function (Section 12, page 12).

almost always edit the drums by removing certain events from the drum
