Just bought a VFXsd. Holding 'preset' button and pressing 'master' button shows ROM version 1.37 and KPC ROM v2.20.
Attempting to load the Sequencer OS disk v2.10 results in an 'incompatible seq os version' message.
If anyone has a VFXOS13x.EDV file, could (s)he add it in the files section, thank!
I'm also considering upgrading the VFXsd EPROMs to latest version (v2.00 I think), compatible with v2.10 Sequencer OS.
Has anyone performed such upgrade?...Who still suplies these EPROMs chips ?
As I have the hardware to erase and reprogram the two 27C256 EPROMs chips, a binary dump from the 2 EPROMs (Hi and Lo memory dumps) would also do the job.
