This is just me, and I am one very hard headed person - with a little OCD thrown in.I would try the hard boot several times since doing it that once had an affect. Also, I once read where power cycling it 7 times has a type of hard boot affect on it. On the 7th time you come up with the Reinitalize? screen. The only thing is that the instructions did not specify what point in the boot cycle to restart the power cycle. So that could be a "crap shoot" so to speak, and could possibly mess something up. I think I tried it one time but I don't remember what result I had from it. You might want to email this guy in California. He is the only person that I know of in the USA that has parts and can work on Ensoniq stuff ...thesoniq@...I don't know if he has any knowledge about this power cycle thing or not but it can't hurt to ask.Tal Rodriguez
