You know.....

Ever since our moderator posted his situation about his personal life (which is a very tough thing to do, I might add)....I have seen more negativity instead rather than support.  This saddens me because I must really question where our human dignity is....

Are we really so selfish and self-absorbed that we cannot even offer well-wishes and prayer instead of questioning the truthfulness of this man's plight?

I will tell you that some have even said that they were going to leave the group because of what our moderator has done.  He has reached out for assistance, monetary or otherwise, and this is how we respond?

I cannot send money to help him, but as a Christian, I can certainly pray and have well-thoughts directed his way.  Sometimes, this is the best thing to do.

Even in the event that the postings from him are fake (which he has even sent alternate e-mails for personal correspondence), we can still respond in kind with prayer and well-wishes instead of blindly sending money.  He has even offered us a way to personally and privately communicate with him if we desire and we still choose to rake him over the coals in this public forum.

I am not leaving the group, as I still see the value in the group itself for the resources listed therein, but I must say that I am very saddened by our response to what is a man's true tragedy...
