AW: AW: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] looking for roommate in lemon grove

2002-11-11 by "Nitsch, Jürgen"

Hi Tim,
i`ve done the engineering for myself, there are no commercial Interrest`s
behind at this time. The way is to exchange the 27C256 Eprom ( 32k * 8)
through an 512k * 8 (I use an 4001),modify the Card for this, and switch the
last 4 Adress-Pins with an HEX-decoded Switch(I use 10k resistors to Vcc,
negative Logic). The Sounddata I do transfer with an own buildet RAM-Card,
witch I can read out with an Eprom-Programmer, so I dump 32k Data to the Ram
and write it to the, for it reserved, Adressarea at the 4001-Eprom.
Mail me, if you need more Instructions, how you can do especially.
Best Regards
Jürgen
(P.S. i don`t understand your first mail, something important?)

I have modified VFX-Cartridges so that I have switchable (HEX-Switch 0-F) 16
Soundbanks on 1 Cartridge,(includes SD-ROM0,SD-ROM1, VPC 100 - VPC 105,etc)

to know how you can modify your Cartridges this way, let me know!
I´ve some nice grey socks to sell, someone interested ??
Best wishes to all VFX Users
