Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Hi all,
I just signed up today. I have been attempting to use my VFX-SD to 
create midi files in Cakewalk, but am having trouble with the 
velocity. I have to pound the keys to get reasonable sound levels and 
if I play normally, some of the keys don't sound at all. Is this a 
problem with Cakewalk or do I need to change some settings on the 
VFX? I also would like to download some multi-sound sequences from 
the VFX to Cakewalk for editing and then back to the VFX. Any 
suggestions??? Do I need a different sequencer in the PC?
I'm using the SB Live card in case that makes any difference.
I have had my VFX since it first came out and I'm still pleased with 
it's performance!
