Hi, Fred is right. Making full copies of existing disks and merging / reorganising sounds / songs from existing floppies or SysEx-files using SysEx and midi is qiet complicated. So I asked for a solution that makes managging disks easier, as EDE is only usefull, when you have existing imagefiles... By the way, I can´t get the program running properly, neihter under WinXP nor in Win98. The program creates disks, but my VFX-SD can´t read it "disk not formatted" :( --- In Ensoniq-VFX-SD@yahoogroups.com, Roi de la plage <roidelaplage@y...> wrote: > EDE makes a VFX-SD from an existing EDE-fileimage. > I guess the point is : > to create fileimages from existing floppies, > to create fileimages from SysEx files, > to create SysEx files from diskimages > to have the program to run under current OS... > > Fred > > --- Claus <clauzii@h...> a écrit : > I > think(?) the problem with the fuses could be that > > there are > > actually two types of fuses: Fastblows and > > Slowblows. > > Make shure you get the Slowblows as they can > > whithstand more spikes > > in the powerline. > > > > Another thing could be that the VFX-SD gets VERY hot > > inside and that > > this heating could make the fuses blow ´out of > > time´. > > > > -------- > > > > Why is everybody talking about EDM CLONES? > > > > I have EDE to make disks from PC to the VFX-SD? > > Huh?? > > Why use clones? > > > > > > ===== > -- > Si la pierre tombe sur l'oeuf, malheur a l'oeuf, > Si l'oeuf tombe sur la pierre, malheur a l'oeuf. > Frederic (roidelaplage@y...) > > ___________________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? -- Une adresse @... gratuite et en français ! > Yahoo!
