This
might sound stupid but I found myself having the same problems even with the
hardwire modifications when I had used the keyboard in a cold, damp
location for an extended period.
To fix it, I would reload the OS and keep a space heater on
the keyboard and it seems to work, although that's probably not the scientific
answer that you're looking for.

Hello,
An user mail me because your VFX-SD have some
troibles.
What he wrote was all about know
issue keyboard calibration, so I recommend the classic solution (hardwire).
He did all work and everything seems works OK.
A couple of days after, he write again telling the
VFX-SD became crazy. When he press a key, sometimes make sounds; sometimes
no. The sounds remainds althought he release the keys; sometimes he press one
time and the synth plays two notes.
The battery is new and hardwire is done. Does
somebody know what it can be happening?
Any info is welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Fabio
