All OS data is only load-able by floppy disc, if you have a OS disc that is formatted for the VFXSD and contains the OS data and it's not loading then you may have a bad drive.
Be sure of what you have purchased, an OS disc image file saved to a DSDD floppy will not load but is intended for use in the Giebler EDM software for making copies on the PC. Check the disc by loading it into the PC and see if there is any data on the disc.
If you purchased one from Route 66 it is in VFXSD format and ready to load into the unit, if your drive is bad check with Route 66 for a replacement.
