Reaching out here as I don't really want to spend more $ on the upgrade
to 4.1 just yet. 

This one gets a little weirder now. I toggled power on the SD-1 and now
I see the OS 3.0 file on the floppy. I try to load it and the SD-1 just
hangs in the loading sequencer OS screen. You can here the floppy kick
like 3 times then the display and entire unit just freeze up. Any ideas
on this one. One more comment. I seem to not be able to read the floppy
at all on the SD-1 unless I format it on the SD-1 first then use the OS
loader prog. (self executable one from Carthago) I have pretty much
given up on the Giebler program all together. I can't get that thing to
even burn a floppy at all.

Any help would really be appreciated.

I just went to Cathargo and picked up the OS 3.0 download. I did get 
it to create a floppy. Unfortunatley I can not seem to find the 3.0 
OS on the floppy. Am I missing something here ?? Where do I find the 
file on the floppy I created.
Any help would be appreciated.

hello again,
just wanted to say thanx to everyone whos hlped me on this site, my 
VFXSD is working fine, the sequencer is on there and damn is it 
powerful. the only thing im still having trouble getting to work is 
the aftertouch. i reckon my VFX just doesnt do it anymore, it just 
wont work. but as far as im concerned the aftertouch feature isnt 
THAT important.
