SD-1 Sequence software?

SD-1 Sequence software?

2004-10-15 by Michael C Lesko

Hello all,

Being new to the SD-1, I'm curious to know if I can create an SD-1 sequence
using software and
a computer as opposed to programming it in directly. Am I just dreaming or
can this be done?
Thanks in advance....

Michael

Thanks Vince,
I'm still tring to figure out how you do that? I mean you completely construct your layered sequence in Band in a Box,
record it real time into your SD-1 - then break it up "in" the SD-1? I'm guessing you mean you record (real time) one
track at a time into the SD-1, is that correct? Thanks in advance.

feel free to help me guys
answering this one

if the sd-1 is anything like vfx ,
you generally can set each computer seq track to a unique midi ch
make sure your pc to sd-1 is ok
then setup your blank seq with sounds on each trk in the sd-1
making sure each sd-1 trk is also on the correct midi ch (vs the seq)
then provided your sd-1 is in the correct mode for recieving midi on
all ch's
(poly a or b? OR OMNI?)
you can hear and then RECORD the data stream coming to your sd-1

but not one trk at a time , all at once

The midi mode has to be set to multi to record all tracks at once.
