Hi , I am still having trouble with my sd1. I sprayed contact cleaner on the data slider, volume control and the mod and pitch wheels. I set the pitch bend to 0 and when doing so I noticed the parameters were changing rapidly and by them selves. It seemed to me that a data slider or button is throwing out the change commands. I cant be sure but I think the data slider is the culprit. Does anyone know of a way to disable it? I have a gig next week, and im screwed so far. Thanks Rich

I Had A Similar Problem With An Ensoniq SQ2. I Connect It Into A Sequencer And Record All The Changes It Did By itself. I Think It Could Be A Failure In The Sensor Chip, Not The Contact Itself =( Take It To the Doctor!

It doesn't sound like pitch bend, per se - its probably the modulation wheel. Try this test... Try moving the mod wheel up&down - is this changing the pitch? If so, you can disable it by changing where it says *MOD* to "OFF" in all the voices in the patch you are using? Then save the patch. That should do it from my experience. Rodney
