As far as trashing it -- I'm sure there's someone here who'd like one for spares if nothing else; it's a great keyboard. Considering you got it for $30, spending, oh, $100 on it to get it fixed still puts you at about half the going market price for a VFXsd. I love mine, and my SD-1. Since you've never gotten to play it, you have no idea how good it is. :) It's a heck of a good keyboard, and - I think - worth saving. --- Joe M.
