Websites Showcasing the Ensoniq VFX & SD1

With reference to a very brief discussion that took place back around the first of March of this year on a new website that I was considering creating at the time to showcase the VFX and the SD1, would the following interested responders contact me privately at the following email address tekoband@... for any additional information and progress if you are still interested. Kalter John Brusseau Hans Artmann If I missed anyone or you think you might be interested, feel free to holler at me also. Please refer to the initial message posted Mar 2, 2005 (Message Number 1618) posted by (teko_band2000). I decided that given the fact that many of the synthesists in this "Yahoo Group" live outside the United States the "legal" aspect of having a large mix of music from around the world would be a nightmare for the website host, assuming there are a mix of cover songs in the lot. So I am trying a more simplified approach but one that may capture my initial intent. All who wish to participate would just provide nice descriptive "links" to those other sites who are interested in joining the "group". That way, each synthesist is responsible for the legalities of their own site without affecting the other members of the group. Again, the purpose here is to showcase to a large part the VFX and the SD1. I am sure most all of us use other various pieces of gear to compliment our setups. I use a couple of Roland sound modules along with a couple of Alesis products. But the centerpiece of my music, for the most part, is the VFX and the SD1. So if there is a prerequisite for being in this "Group or Ring" it will be that the VFX and/or the SD1 are an integral part of the synthesist's produced music. On my site, which I am currently remodeling, I am offering the songs I post as free MP3 downloads. I am also giving a somewhat detailed breakdown of each song with patches used, pre-sequenced sections, software used, history of the song if it is a cover song, etc .etc ..etc! For my site, it will be more of a "show and tell" for whatever that is worth to the site visitor. We all have varied tastes in the music we produce I'm sure. And I am sure the talents of the individuals are just as varied. My intent is to leave that determination to the site visitor and just have a group who, based on their "love" for the VFX and SD1, share their creations with each other as well as the rest of humanity. Email me if you are interested in swapping links and becoming a member of this "VFX/SD1 Ring" assuming you agree with the basic intent. Seems like it would be really enjoyable to me. Thanks .Alan
