A) I, for one, believe that methods of amplification for VFXs is
completely germane to the topic of this list. When I was maintainer
of the old VFX list I would never have suggested canning such a
conversation, and Richard, I believe you are letting your commercial
interests show here. (Either that or flashing your power hungry
moderator status -- I note how you sign "moderator" instead of your
own name.)

B) on the other hand, can't the rest of you learn how to edit the
message you're replying to so that only the relevant portion is
included??? These huge postings containing 1% new content, 2% Yahoo
Group splatage, and 97% repeated drivel make it really hard for a
person who receives the digested version of the list to find anything
worth reading.

Steve
Don't push it, these are the rules and if you want to discuss amps go find the Yahoo Amp group. Methods of amplification for the VFXs is relevant to the topic of this list, but not when it goes beyond the scope and into long rants. I would have expected much more from you on the general rules of forums knowing that you had your own list at one time.

Steve, I have known Richard for many years, he has
been a very generous and genuine person with a massive
interest in synths that exceeds most of us synth-nuts.

You're really pushing it on this where it should not
go. My best regards, Keith

Sorry, Keith, but it's my natural reaction when *anybody*
dives straight to threatening removal, rather than a gentle
reminder.
