is this old dos disk of sounds of any use to anyone ?

Hello,
I had a vfx-sd from 1990 to 1995.
the pawn shop ended up with it ( its a long sad story)
anyway i finally got me a midi controller ( m-audio).
i really miss the aftertouch of my vfx-sd

well i stumbled onto this site.
I have been saving this floppy for years hoping someone could use it.

to the best of my memory it went like this.
i had several floppies that had extra sounds on them.
i loaded each floppy in the keyboard.
then I auditioned each sound and catoragized it(brass, guitars, piano, etc)
the I did a sysex ? command and transferred the sound(paramaters?)
to my pc.
my goal was to be able to call up all of a particular type of sound at
once. i think these groups used half the memory, and i would transfer
the sound i wanted to the other side, and then repeat for the next
sound i was looking for. it has been a long time.
i know i had cakewalk for win 3.1 but dont remember if that is what i
used to xfer the sound(paramaters) i had some midi card called a mt-32
or something like that. big $$ back then

well i pulled out the disk and it is still readable.
linux mounted it as a fvat disk.
i think i had win 3.1 at that time.

If this disk is of any value I can upload it as an image or as
individual files. let me know randyperkins@...

==============================
