Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I can't seem to play locally from my SD1 when it's in song mode any 
idea's why?

I am hand playing a few things locally (from the SD1) and at the same 
time I reach up and start my SONG/SEQ, when the SONG/SEQ starts the 
sound I am playing stops. 
The SONGs/SEQs are not using any sounds from the SD1, they are all 
being played from a rack of other modules.

Have You made shure that the SongTrack You�re sound comes from is set 
to MIDI/LOCAL? - And volume other than 0. Is the sound routed to the 
(uynconnected?) AUX outputs? Have You had a volume pedal on that was 
at minimum when You disconnected it?

    Thanks for the reply, I have figured it out and yes it was the 
Midi/Local thing but I still have a issue. 

It seems I can only play the sound with the song if Im in song mode 
(meaning in the SEQUENCER) If I am in say one of the banks looking at 
the sound and press play on the SEQ the song starts but then the sound 
will not play with it.
 Seems it should play either way but no big deal it all still works 100%
