Re: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Digest Number 793

Hello all,
I just wanted to respond to the message and provide
an update on my VFX experience.
I ordered a drive from Route66 Studios and it should
be here next week sometime. I am looking forward to
getting it installed in the VFX and getting the
sequencer installed.
The other VFX-SD I got works great and has already
been to band practice a few times and I am very
pleased with it all. I sure love the VFX. In fact,
my SQ2 has not even been turned on since I got the VFX
units up and running.
I think that when the band starts playing live, I
will be bringing 3 boards: the 2 VFX boards and my
Roland XP60. We'll see if I can do it with just 3
boards.
Every time I plug in the VFX and play it/them, there
is so much character that it is hard not to play it.
Sure, the piano sound is a little dull compared to the
Roland, but there is so much more to the VFX that
lends itself to live playing.
I do thank you for the information on the other
drive, it sounds intriguing, and something I may take
you up on another time.
Thank you again and you all take care,
  Harry Ebbeson III
