I had a similar problem with a floppy drive that I bought from #66.
I thought I bought the wrong drive or floppies.
I emailed them & they told me to make sure the ribbon connector had a
good connection.
I cleaned the contacts on my Sd & reconnected & everything is fine.
Remember VFX's were always finicky about disks, too much data for the
media.
