And that has something to do with that (I think) the floppy drive needs to be able to do 800K disks...:) (Not 100% shure though, but haven“t found any other reason).

Hi Every-one
I've been a member for a few years now, and and even though I
(foolishly) sold my SD-1 a while back, I still read the posts with
interest. I'm the one that complied and posted "the lot" - which was
my entire set of patches.
I've recently posted demo tracks of my CD on my web site. Go to...
http://www.aura-chi.com.au/musiccd.html
to have a listen. - Don't expect any rock and rock here (although I've
played heaps of that over the years), it's a Relaxation CD. But why
I'm posting here is that it features my favourite SD-1 lead instrument
patches quite strongly. Track 7 is a prime example, using the BEST
most expressive Oboe patch on the planet - Double Reed.
Also, if any Australian member is thinking of selling an SD-1 (32
voice) in the future, please keep my contact details....

Oh yeah, My ensoniq tip of the week?, if anyone still happens to have
a working Atari ST (remember them?) - they are able to copy Ensoniq
format disks with ease - including sequencer O.S.
cheers
