Repair of VXF SD bought at a Garage sale

Being new to the list, I was reading through and seen post of members that their keyboards had died, Being an electronic tech for many years I wanted to share how I got the Keyboard I found at a garage sale repaired in case it might help someone to repair theirs in the future if they should ever have the same problems with theirs, not knowing anything about the keyboard or if or where I could get parts, I was kind of doubtfull I could repair it, but geting the unit for so cheap I figured it wouldn't hurt to try, Taking it apart I noticed two 5 volt fuses were blown, so I thought at first it might be the power supply, so I figured if I unpluged everything from the power supply and the fuses did not blow again it would indicate that the power supply was not the problem, I pluged the cables of the other brds and the display back on to the power supply one by one, The unit came up with out blowing fuses and the only thing I had not pluged in was the disc drive, looking at the disc drive cable I noticed that it was pinched up against a chip and a bare part of the cable wire was probably shorting the 5 volts out, I taped up the cable and plugged it in and the unit is working great now, Hope this trouble shooting tip might help someone if they ever have the same problem
