RE: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Has anyone ever made a CV-1 pedal?

2006-09-27 by Robert Douglas

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone out there ever tried to build their own CV-1 control voltage
pedal?

I was flipping thru my VFX-SD Musicians Manual last night and noticed they
give the spec's. on the CV-1 pedal, I had built one over 2 decades ago for
an old ARP Odyssey by modifying and old farfisa volume pedal ,and it had
some very interesting uses (wah-wah pedal, controlling pitch bend, etc.).

According to the maulal, the CV-1 pedal can be used as a volume pedal, or
can replace the modulation wheel when both hands are busy.

Thought it might be a great project for some of the electronic techies in
the group, I'd like to hear some ideas and would be happy to post the full
spec from the manual if anyone is interested.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
