Just call me butterfingers

Just call me butterfingers

2007-04-18 by antonfarstad

Sorry for lamenting on the board here, but last night I dropped my SD-
1 while making my way down the stairs to the basement.
Its one of those moments where you just stand there and watch.. The
word that came to mind was horrorshow. I couldnt belive it. I still
cant..

Denial -> Anger -> Bargaining -> Depression -> Acceptance

I guess thats the road I must walk to get through this.

Or...

Money can buy happines right? :)

Lets try and see:

Does anyone have a working SD-1 they want to part from? I live in
Norway so preferably you dont live too far from here. The closer you
live, the better..

Regards Jonas.

Oh. My. Goodness. I'm so sorry. Keeping my SD-1 for now, though.

Right, but ... how broken can it really be? If I was in Europe I'd offer money to take a physically damaged SD-1 off your hands.

Even if I don't buy it, even if nobody does, please, if it can't be repaired make sure somebody gets it for parts. Sell it on eBay or something. Just don't throw it in the trash.

Its pretty smashed up.

I have a friend who is a synthesizer nut. He's got dibs on the parts
so whatever parts survived will be put to use in one way or another.
