OK.. No program converters for the SD-1...!!!

I was hoping to see lots of replys.. no such luck!

OK, now that I understand the inner workings of the sequensers multi-
system functions, does anyone have any sequences on floppy they would
like to share and trade, or would anyone like to swap special patches
or beat ideas with floppies through the mail?
come on!!! whats wrong? don't you trust me?!!!

In your first mail you're asking for a exchange program. Well there is one. I guess Giebler Enterprises (www.midifile.com) still sell there Ensoniq Disk Manager and the VFX conversion package.
If you don't want to buy software (I don't have it, so I can't tell how good it works), you can always tranfer your sequences by recording them through the MIDI interface. That't what MIDI's good for, isn't it?
As for exchanging sequences there has never been much activity or interest on the board. Maybe musicians are not easily sharing their work without the chance of getting a golden disc...
Sometimes people are asking for specific sounds and they are getting help most of the time. There are 1000+ sounds for the VFX/sd on the file section but I've rarely seen people adding somthing really new.
Exchanging sounds and sequences works without mailing floppies. There are many ways to go without snail mail:
Put single sounds or sequences in sysex and standard midi files.
VFX floppies (if you got an arrangement of sequences and sounds neatly packed together) can be written to a disk image file.
There's one problem which I guess keeps a lot of people off doing it: all known tools dealing with Ensoniq floppies (Giebler and some other's available on the file section) only run in DOS mode. Although it's no secret knowledge it's obviously frightening enough for most people. I don't elaborate on the specifics here, you can find all hints on the file section and in the archive.
If you're really interested we can take this offline.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
