Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Hello,
            I wanted to take a moment and let everyone know I have 
taken over the position as moderator of the VFX-SD group. I am open 
to all sugestions anytime and can be reached through the group or my 
private E-mail. I don't have any plans on making any changes because 
I think this group is doing just fine the way it is. If the topic 
goes a little astray I think that's ok too, as long as it's somehow 
related to the VFX series family of synths or Ensoniq. I will try to 
do the best I can with spammers although I don't think we have had 
any to date. I think any products that enhance the VFX series of 
synths and work stations are good here and I welcome all adverts 
related and I promise not to bombard you with mine. Please use your 
discretion when posting any Ensoniq VFXSD related solicitations, and 
remember, nonstop repetition of advert posts are annoying to everyone.

Hey Richard, great to see you're the moderator here
after Suzzanne's sad departure (and her SD)...there
were doubts whether the VFX group would survive the
transition, now my fears are put to rest. So from all
of us at the Assoc.Synth.Canada, our thanks and very
best wishes...Keith

Actually, I'm still here, and my SD1 *might* be too.... I did some more 
poking around, and found 2 fuses I'd missed, both rated 250V 2.0A, both 
blown. 

Now, its POSSIBLE that they might be the cause, but its also possible that 
they are part of the symptoms, I'll grab some replacement fuses in a few 
days, and see if it fixes it.

Either way, I'm planning on ordering a K2600X as soon as the mortgage 
refinance goes thru :)
