operating system question

operating system question

2008-01-31 by eightiescrisis

recently purchased a vfx sd, after a few hours of intense cleaning (was it pizza or chili that
was dried onto the keys?) the board looks and sounds great

already posted a question about my floppy drive and the sequencer o/s now i have another
question...

if i reinitialize the board and do a full reset will i need to load the original operating system?
i'm not talking about the sequencer....

it seems a reset would clean it out so to speak but i don't have any o/s disks... is the o/s
built into the rom chips inside the board?

i'm waiting for a manual form route66 (moderator please send soon - it's been quite a few
days) and i'm sure the answer is in the print

until the manual arrives can anyone answer this query?

Sequencer is all that's on there.

Yup.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
