1st of all: Smack the crap out of your spiller--and I am not even kidding.
2nd: You are probably going to have sticky residue inder your buttons for life IF YOU DON'T pop open the top of your SD-1 and remove each component and wash with water and blow dry with compressed air and let dry for another couple of days. The water will not hurt the electronics (with the possible exception of the displays internals) as long as no electrical current travels thru it while it is damp at all. If you are hesitant about tearing your Ensoniq apart then just take pics along the way and keep each set of screws and connectors separated as you systematically take it all apart. It's not at all too much hassle for your problem.
DON'T FORGET to beat down the drinker. This sort of thing is inexcusable.
Sorry for the rant.
David

I was at a gig 3 days ago when my vocalist, A known spilled drink offender, spilled his adult beverage on my Sd1. I was using it at the time fairly sparingly as I have moved 2 my Fantom for all the heavy lifting. I still have acres of seqs/songs on the ol girl. I kinda took her for granted and I want her back! Any suggestions on cleaning or getting her repaired would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
