Well, the bad news is that any conductive goo may well have scrambled the memory. The good news is that you can probably wash any crap off the boards with warm water and dry them thoroughly and have a reasonable expectation of success. Take the battery off first though - and if it hasn't already been changed, now is a good time to do that! Gordon

I'd recommend to use distilled water (maybe use a old toothbrush, as well) and after drying, I'd still let them air dry for a couple of days. Rodney ________________________________

1st of all: Smack the crap out of your spiller--and I am not even kidding.2nd: You are probably going to have sticky residue inder your buttons for life IF YOU DON'T pop open the top of your SD-1 and remove each component and wash with water and blow dry with compressed air and let dry for another couple of days. The water will not hurt the electronics (with the possible exception of the displays internals) as long as no electrical current travels thru it while it is damp at all. If you are hesitant about tearing your Ensoniq apart then just take pics along the way and keep each set of screws and connectors separated as you systematically take it all apart. It's not at all too much hassle for your problem.DON'T FORGET to beat down the drinker. This sort of thing is inexcusable.Sorry for the rant.David
