Changing Enoniq-VFX-SD Sequences

Changing Enoniq-VFX-SD Sequences

2010-01-07 by pianomanstan88

Hi,
I have two VFX-SD's and tons of midi sequences (discs) formatted to play on them. Neither of the keyboards are reliable anymore for live performance. Does anyone know the best &/or easiest way to get these sequences transferred to GM files so I can get them on my computer & eventually to wave files?
Thanks,
Stan

First, cannibalize one VFX-SD to repair the other... :D

Hey Jon,

Did you ever get a chance to look at the VFX I dropped off? I an curious what it’s problem(s) is(are). Sorry I was

in such a hurry to get to Palm Springs but I just wanted to get that drive out of the way! I enjoyed talking about

the vintage synth stuff…it’s not that often I get a chance to these days.

Gary

well, the one that is currently working has been repaired so many times already...plus I really don't want to haul the thing around anymore. Carrying an MP3 player or laptop seems much more reasonable! LOL
