IT WORKS ! Have to rig up a thermometer holder to prove it, but the "finger" test is obvious to the touch that the heatsink is WAY cooler !! Pictures to come gist of last post: 80mm computer fan in bottom of SD-1, heatsink moved inboard about 1/2" for air flow.
