Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Hi friends,

I found three Demo Cartridges named SOUND DEMO NO.1-3.
You insert a cartridge, press CART and can select from a couple of sequences
which demonstrate the sound capabilities of the VFX. You'll also be taken on
a 'tour' to show how the mod wheel, the patch select, the polyphonic
aftertouch and the data entry slider work.
However, apart from the demonstration to a newbie there's no big value in
the cartridges, so I'll modify them with EEPROM chips (it's exactly the same
board!). For those who are interested in the sound demos I recorded them
from my vanilla VFX and downloaded them to the files section.

Oh yes, if there's someone who has modified a cartridge using a socket: I'll
try to desolder the original chips carefully. Please let me know whether you
are interested...
