Using AWAVE to convert files to VFX-SD format

HELP! HELP! HELP! Is anyone familiar with using AWAVE to convert files to VFX-SD format. Everything works fine with files for my ARS-10, but when I try to conver files from AWAVE, my EDM program won't read them, which makes me think I'm saving the wrong fomat inside AWAVE. Thanks!!!
