There are two basic X/Y tables, one has a 5x12 table, the other has a 6 x 18 table. (use-enco.com p/n 201-2826 $68.95) the 6x18 table is the one I see most often as it is not that much larger. p/n 201-2536 - $119.95 It is made by someone ?? and private labelded for Palmgren and they to a top notch job, and sell it for $400. Phase-II does a fair job fitting and sell it for $199, there there are the Chineese knock-off's that are very rough and sell for less than $125.00 it is the cheap ones, and I am pretty sure including the Phase-II that would benifit from a thrust bearing ( about $5.oo from Enco) on each axis. It would greatly reduce forces and would also reduce backlash. The nut is not an anti-backlash, but that is not too hard to fix, and there are quite a few places on the web that discuss how to do that. Dave
