Eric,

I too am using a 6L now with good results. There were other 6L's in 
here from a thread a couple weeks ago. The 5&6 are said to use the 
same toner carts, so I guess you should be fine. I'm using an iron, 
but have "enhanced" it with a plate of eighth inch aluminum on the 
bottom. I also had over-etch problems, but I may have tracked some 
down to some simple flaws. I'm using a small, vertical, heated tank 
with bubblers now, but before that, I used to have to agitate manually 
with my boards laying flat, so I had to let them sit too long to get 
the thick or hard to agitate areas, which ate away at the completed 
ones. I also have a bad habit of running long thin traces right along 
the board edges, as well as long thin ones with plenty of space beside 
them, which could easily be beefed up. That sort of stuff is an easy 
target for the over-etching.  

Not to change the subject, but how many of us tried to get that after 
Thanksgiving rebate deal on the 9" at Staples?
