It was difficult, though. It helps if you make the pads longer than they are on the standard QFN footprint, so that you can get the tip of a soldering iron in there. I tried with the Nordic nRF2401 on a double-sided PCB, but gave up and had them mounted by a specialist SMT assembly company. They didn't charge me as it was such a small job (it took them about 20 minutes), it was just before Xmas, and I'd gone a long way on my motorbike to get to them. 8-) Their minimum charge is 50 GBP.
