No, I don't do this in the kitchen microwave, I have a spare that I use in the workshop for various non-food heating tasks. I'm sure this is less safe than using hot water, but it sure is easy and fast. I typically only do small boards using less than 50cc of etchant at a time, so the potential for damage is limited. I wouldn't try it this way for large quantities of etchant. Dave K
