Being eternally out of pocket and a hobbyist I've
taken to KiCAD (freeware - Linux and MS). A bit rough
around the edges but getting better. The learning
curve wasn't very frightening either, I had more
trouble getting to grips with Eagle so I tossed it
when KiCAD became useable.
