One worked OK when I tried it. I just put it on low power for a short while then switched it to high power and left it on until I saw the solder start to flow. I then turned it off and opened the door. I'll try measuring the temperature when I get a temperature probe for my DVM so that I can get something approximating the correct profile and check the temperature distribution.
