I don't see at all why it would suddenly fail. Mine also got worse as i tried cleaning instead of better. I wonder what i need to swap out if i get a new printer, i expect both the head and the controller board. I don't necessarily want to mechanically modify another printer (just yet, at some point i'll probably want to make a better version). Has anyone tried what maximum weight the paper feed can carry? (how heavy the carrier can be i mean). There is also a calibration parameter that has to do with that, i think. ST
